The time converter converts seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years and centuries, as well as milliseconds, microseconds and nanoseconds. Besides the conversion, the calculator splits the result into days, hours, minutes and seconds — for example, 100,000 s = 1 d 3 h 46 min 40 s.

Unlike metric units, time is converted with factors 60, 24 and 7 rather than powers of ten, so results are often fractional: 90 min = 90 : 60 = 1.5 h = 1 h 30 min.
Months and years vary in length, so the calculator uses a 30-day month, a 365-day year and a 36,525-day century (100 years of 365.25 days, as in astronomy).
