Temperatures separated by spaces or new lines, negative ones with a minus sign: -2 3 8 4. For a year enter 12 values from January to December.

Formulas

t_mean = ^{t₁ + t₂ + … + t_n}/_n, A = t_max − t_min

Negative temperatures are added with their minus sign. The range is the highest minus the lowest temperature; if the lowest is negative, its absolute value is added.

The annual range shows how continental the climate is: near the ocean it is 5–15 °C, in Yakutia over 60 °C.

Example. Readings over a day: −2, +3, +8 and +4 °C: t_mean = (−2 + 3 + 8 + 4) / 4 = 3.25 °C, A = 8 − (−2) = 10 °C.
