Radiation Units
Radiation units converter: becquerels, curies, grays, rads, sieverts, rems and roentgens. Conversion with a solution.

Activity, absorbed, equivalent and exposure doses are different quantities, so you can only convert units within one group.
The radiation units converter converts units of activity (Bq, Ci), absorbed dose (Gy, rad), equivalent dose (Sv, rem) and exposure (R, C/kg). These quantities measure different things: for example, gray cannot be converted to sievert without a radiation weighting factor.
Units
| Unit | Value |
|---|---|
| becquerel (Bq) | 1 Bq |
| kilobecquerel (kBq) | 1000 Bq |
| megabecquerel (MBq) | 10⁶ Bq |
| gigabecquerel (GBq) | 10⁹ Bq |
| microcurie (µCi) | 37 000 Bq |
| millicurie (mCi) | 3.7·10⁷ Bq |
| curie (Ci) | 3.7·10¹⁰ Bq |
| microgray (µGy) | 10⁻⁶ Gy |
| milligray (mGy) | 0.001 Gy |
| gray (Gy) | 1 Gy |
| rad (rad) | 0.01 Gy |
| microsievert (µSv) | 10⁻⁶ Sv |
| millisievert (mSv) | 0.001 Sv |
| sievert (Sv) | 1 Sv |
| rem (rem) | 0.01 Sv |
| microroentgen (µR) | 10⁻⁶ R |
| milliroentgen (mR) | 0.001 R |
| roentgen (R) | 1 R |
| coulomb per kilogram (C/kg) | ≈ 3876 R |
Example. 1 mCi = 3.7 · 10⁷ Bq = 37 MBq.
