Percent Error
Find absolute and relative (percent) error from an exact value or a series of measurements, with the solution.
What to find:
Numbers separated by spaces, semicolons or new lines; fractions as 1/6, decimals as 2.5.
Measurement error shows how far a result is from the exact value.
Formulas
Δx = |x − x0|, ε = Δx / |x0| · 100%
For a series of measurements, the mean is used as the exact value and the absolute error is the average deviation from it.
