How many tiles and boxes for a floor or wall, including joints and a cutting allowance.
The number of tiles is the surface area divided by the tile area with its joint. Allow 5–10% extra, or 15% for diagonal laying and complex rooms. Buy tiles from one batch, as shades vary between batches.
