Resistor Color Code
Find resistance from color bands and bands from a value, with a picture and tolerance.
What to find:
Color bands show the value and tolerance of a resistor. Four-band resistors have two digits, five-band resistors have three.
How to read the bands
The first bands are digits, the next is the multiplier and the last is the tolerance. Start from the end the bands are closest to. Gold and silver are never the first band.
